Softball Registration – St. Catharines
2024 Softball (Slo-Pitch) Registration for Our St. Catharines Softball Leagues – Now Open!
All Games will be played at various parks in St. Catharines. Please pick you’re night/ league and register below.
Registration Includes Umpire Fees
Leagues Offered:
Monday: Coed – Intermediate & Rec
Tuesday: Coed – Intermediate & Rec
Wednesday: Coed – Intermediate & RecRec
Thursday: Coed – Intermediate & RecRec
Note: League divisions will be adjusted based on the number of Teams registered for each division on the specific night. If we don’t get enough for a full division we will have one large league and make divisions based on standings for the playoffs.
Spots are limited and taken on a first register/ pay basis so be sure to register as soon as possible.
League Details:
- Adult Coed Softball (Slo-Pitch)
- SPO registration is mandatory to play in the league and is a separate fee SPO charges $16.95 per player.
- Umpire Fees Included in registration price
- Summer Softball leagues begin the week of May 27th.
- Full Season May- September
- 2 Balls given to each team at the team captains meeting only.
- Umpires! Our games are regulated by umpires to guarantee all games stay fun and fair for everyone.
- Trophy’s, and have a chance to in the NRS Champions cup!
- Niagara Rec Sports is committed to maintaining top-quality equipment (Real Bases).
- Great way to get involved in a sport, stay in shape have fun and meet new people.

- Games times are 1:15min in length, start times are 6:00pm, 7:15, 8:30. If we need the extra diamond time there may be a 9:45 game. Note: there may be one game per week played at Lancaster which will begin at 9:30.
- All games will be in St. Catharines at either Joe McCaffrey Park, Grapeview Park, Grantham Lions Park, Park or Lancaster 1 Park
- All games are played on the specific evening you are registered for.
- Rain outs will be played when diamonds are available either on the weekend or a different night of the week.

Game Start Times: For Thursday evenings only the city has only allowed us on the parks at 8pm and on. Therefore Thursday game start times will be 8:00 and 9:15 (this is for Thursdays only, all other evenings game start times are 6pm and on)

NRSPA membership / insurance change
- Niagara Regional Slo-Pitch Association per player fee is $10.00 when you register with NRSPA.
- The NRSPA fee is NOT included in the NRS registration fee.
- The good news is the fee only needs to be paid once per season regardless of how many NRS teams and leagues you play for.
- This will benefit those who play on more than one team.
- NRSPA registration is mandatory before anyone can play in the league..
